User roles

Roles give users privileged permissions such as the ability to view or modify data objects such as users, third parties, user types, roles, lifecycle processes, and mail templates.

Roles can also be defined as approvers for user creation/extension operations.

Setting user role

Roles can only be applied to existing users. To apply a role, find a user and click on the three vertical dots and select "View/Edit":

This will bring you to the edit page for the selected:

Find the Roles section to the right of the main form and click on "Add role".

Now find the role to apply to the user from the list of roles and click on the plus symbol to add the role to that user.
